“ Attention all (California) "southerners !!" Growing up with southern-style dishes, found it hard to find authentic tasting ones once in California. We found a hidden gem in Lake Elsinore - AJ's provides great southern fried cuisine! I had the catfish (amazing), the fried okra (wow! So good), and some of the best collard greens I have ever tasted! My wife had the fried cod (impressed), potato salad (good), and the garlic fries (so, so delicious). This is not fast food but your 20-30 minute made to order will be so well worth it! ”

“ My husband has been craving a fish plate for a long time! He's from North Carolina and when we go visit, that's usually when he'll have a plate. Since I'm a huge Yelper, I went onto Yelp to look for a fish fry place and found AJ's! So of course he says let's go over there and it's a little over 20 minutes from us, but it was well worth the drive! We've been there twice so far and it has not been crowded either time. We order our food and we take it to go and it seems like others do the same thing. There was one family who did come and sit down at the tables, but other than that, it seems like a lot of the people walking in were ordering to go. The food is great. The service is amazing and we will definitely be going back! ”

“ My Review, My Opinion IJS.......Lake Elsinore!!!!!!!! Out of all my reviews since I've been reviewing. This is the BEST Fish, Greens, Mac& Cheese. The Yams will make you want to slab somebody. When I say oh soooooooooo delicioussssssss. I mean each bite, the juice from the greens is good. The Mac&Cheese will have you talking to yourself. The service is phenomenal. 5STAR is an understatement!!!IJS....I will drive the 45mins for this right here....Went home to finish the rest and when I say it was even better then. I'm blown away!!
